Smartphone car docking station is designed to be fitted into a 1 DIN
(182 x 53 mm) opening in the dashboard of the vehicle and with an available
GB
depth of about 185 mm. A stud on the rear of the unit is present to ensure an
additional support of the device.
Mounting into the dashboard
1. Remove the old car radio if any, including its mounting bracket.
2. Remove the metal sleeve (B) from the device:
a. Pull out the trim plate (A) on the front panel to access slots
for disassembly tools (3)
b. Insert the 2 disassembly tools (3) in the slots on the side of the
unit and pull back the mounting bracket
3. Install the metal sleeve (B) in the opening of the dashboard and
bend the small metal tabs (T) with a screwdriver outward to fix it.
Make sure the metal sleeve is hold tight.
4. Insert the supplied rubber cap (2) over the bolt on the rear of the device.
5. Connect the device with the cables: ISO connector (C) for power supply
and loud speakers and the antenna cable (D) (ISO type).
6. Slide the device into the dashboard until it locks in ("click") and make sure
the cables are not jammed behind the unit.
7. Put the trim plate (A) back in place.
Caution!
Once the device is mounted insert your smartphone and check that in both
portrait or landscape position it does not interfere with any equipment
(gear shift, warning button ...)
