Tips for Cleaning
Details for cleaning door seals, oven and adjacent parts:
Exterior
Wipe the enclosure with a damp soft cloth.
Door
Using a damp soft cloth, wipe the door and window clean.
Wipe the door seals and adjacent parts to remove any spills or spatter.
Wipe the control panel with a slightly damp soft cloth.
Interior walls
Wipe the cavity clean using a damp soft cloth.
Wipe the waveguide cover clean to remove any food splashes.
Turntable/rotation ring/rotation axis
Wash with mild soapy water.
Rinse with clean water and allow to dry thoroughly.
Servicing
Please check the following before calling for services.
• Place one cup of water (approx. 150 ml) in a glass measure in the oven and close
the door securely. The oven lamp should turn off if the door is properly closed.
Let the oven run for 1 min.
• Does the oven lamp light?
• Does the cooling fan work?
(Put your hand over the rear ventilation openings.)
• Does the turntable rotate?
(The turntable may rotate clockwise or counter clockwise. This is quite normal.)
• Is the water inside the oven hot?
If "NO" is the answer to any of the above questions, please check your wall socket and
the fuse in your meter box.
If both the wall socket and the fuse are functioning properly, CONTACT YOUR NEAREST
APPROVED SERVICE CENTER.
Servicing Safeguards
Caution: Microwave radiation
• The high voltage capacitor remains charged after disconnection. Short-circuit
the negative terminal of the high voltage capacitor to the oven chassis (use a
screwdriver) to discharge before touching.
• During servicing, the parts listed below may be removed and give access to
potentials of above 250 V to the ground:
> Magnetron;
> High voltage transformer;
> High voltage capacitor;
> High voltage diode;

> High voltage fuse.
• The following conditions may cause undue microwave exposure during servicing:
> Improper fitting of the magnetron;
> Improper matching of the door interlock, door hinge and door;
> Improper fitting of the switch support;
> Door, door seal or enclosure has been damaged.
3. POST-SALE SERVICE
BECKEN has designed this appliance in order to guarantee maximum reliability.
However, if a problem occurs do not attempt to open the appliance - there is a risk of
electrical shock. If you are not able to solve the problem, please contact the Costumer
Support Service of any Worten, Modelo or Continente store in order to be assisted.

defects from the date of purchase of the appliance.
WARNING: Any attempt to repair the appliance without contacting the
manufacturer or seller will void the warranty.
All users must be familiar with these instructions. Knowing what could go wrong can
help prevent problems from occurring.
4. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
In order to protect the environment we strive to reduce the volume of packaging
used, limiting it to three easily sorted materials: cardboard, paper and plastic. The
appliance is manufactured using recyclable materials after disassembled by a
specialized company. Please comply with local regulations concerning the recycling
of all materials.
