I CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
· To protect against electrical shock or burns, do not immerse unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
· Failure to maintain this appliance in a clean condition could adversely affect the life of the appliance
and possibly result in a hazardous situation.
I PRODUCT-SPECIFIC WARNINGS
The appliance can become hot during use. Keep the power cord away from hot parts and
don't cover the appliance.
· Never cover the machine with towels or similar objects. Covering the ventilation holes may cause a
fire.
· The parts are not dishwasher safe, unless otherwise stated in this manual.
· Avoid contact with moving parts. To reduce the risk of personal injury and/or damage to the food
dryer, keep hands, hair, clothing, spatulas, and other kitchen utensils away from the food during use.
· Do not operate the appliance for more than 24 hours at a time. After 24 hours, unplug the food dryer
and let it cool down for at least two hours before using it again.
· Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, washbasins, or other objects containing water or other
liquids, or when standing in or on damp or wet surfaces. Do not store the appliance in a damp
environment or room.
· Nevertheless, if the appliance should fall into water, turn off the mains supply to the socket and then
immediately unplug the appliance from the socket. Never put your hands in the water.
