5. If date and time or the initial window for the digital inputs or digital outputs appears at the display unit,
the LOGO! is in the RUN mode. Set the LOGO! to the STOP mode:
– Press ESC.
– Select Stop:  or  key.
– Acknowledge with OK.
– Select Yes:  or  key.
– Acknowledge with OK.
The LOGO! main menu appears. The prerequisites for later data transmission from the PC to the LOGO!
have now been fulfilled.
6. Switch supply power to the LOGO! EduTrainer
7. Set up the pneumatic and electrical circuits for exercise 1. During electrical wiring, take the fact into
consideration that the electro-pneumatic processes will be controlled by the LOGO! EduTrainer
exercise 1, input signal S1 must be connected to input I1 at the LOGO! EduTrainer
1M1 is connected to relay output Q1. Make sure that the utilized relay output Q1 is additionally
connected to 24 V DC.
Observe safety and work instructions fore electro-pneumatic circuits!
8. Connect the Ethernet cable to the LOGO! EduTrainer
port provided for this purpose. The other end of the cable is connected to the PC's network port.
