Installation instructions for wall bracket WTL 6 (35559)
Before you assemble your product, please read the safety information and warnings as well as the in-
structions for use thoroughly. Keep the instructions for use and pass them on to possible new owners.
1. Intended use
This wall bracket is for installing television sets on walls. The bracket is exclusively intended for
private use and must NOT be used for commercial purposes and NOT in public buildings.
2. Important information before the installation
If the installation is not done properly or if the wall bracket is not used as intended, the bracket with
the television set can fall down from the wall and cause damage to property and possibly to persons.
It is therefore essential that you observe all following information and work steps.
•
The maximum load capacity of this wall bracket is 45kg.
•
Never overload the wall bracket, especially not one-sidedly.
•
The bracket must only be installed indoors on flat, vertical walls.
•
Do not modify the original parts and only use reliable tools.
•
Do NOT use the bracket if it seems damaged to you.
•
For some work steps, the assistance of another person is required.
3. Important information about the wall properties
The load capacity of this wall bracket depends decisively on the properties and load capacity of the
wall on which the bracket is installed.
It is essential that you check the wall properties before installation. The provided wall fastening fixtu-
res are only intended for installation on smooth, sturdy walls made of solid bricks, concrete or walls
with integrated wooden beams. Make sure that the pegs for brick walls are placed within the bricks
and not the joints and that the plaster is not more than 3 mm wide. When installing it on walls made
of other materials such as hollow chequer bricks, lightweight materials or plasterboard, contact a
fitter and / or specialist retailer. For safe installation of the pegs, the correct drill must be used for the
bore according to the drawing (diameter). The borehole must be deep enough for the peg, so that it is
entirely buried in the wall. Possible wall cladding must not be wider that 3 mm.
In case of doubt, commission an expert for the installation!
4. Safety information for avoiding personal damage
•
The wall bracket can fall down from the wall with the television set if the installation was not
done properly. Next to property damage, this can also lead to personal injuries in exceptional
cases:
•
Children are not supposed to stay below the wall bracket for prolonged periods.
•
Installation in public and commercial rooms is not permitted. No person should stay below the
wall bracket for prolonged periods. Any unintended use must be categorically avoided.
•
Television sets generate heat during operation. In order to prevent overheating it is essential that
you read the safety information for the television set thoroughly and observe the safety clearances
specified there.
•
Never drill into walls before checking them for possible existing electrical lines or gas lines.
Otherwise there is risk of fire, injury or suffocation.
Make sure that the safety clamps (s. item 9.4 b of these instructions) are always closed.
