DIAGNOSE AND CLEAR CLOGS
1.
Dust bag may be full. Check and replace if full. (See
"Changing the Dust Bag" on page 3).
2. If the dust bag is not full, then check the bottom of
the vacuum and the brush roll.
a. Turn vacuum upside down.
b. Release the cam locks on the bottom metal plate
and remove the bottom metal plate. (See Figure 15)
c. Clear debris around the brush roll.
3. If there is not a clog around the brush roll, there may
be a clog in the clear motor housing. If you see a
clog, remove the housing with a Philips screwdriver.
(See Figure 16)
Fan
a. Use a hanger to help release the clog around
the fan, but do not remove the fan.

4. If you can't see a clog in the motor/fan assembly
and the fan spins freely, the clog may be in the dirt
tube that connects the vacuum to the dirt bag.
a. Release red bag cap by grasping finger tabs
and rotating cap towards front of bag.
(See Figure 6, page 3)
b. Unzip the zipper bag and take the dust bag off
of the plastic dirt tube.
c. Using a screwdriver, remove the outer bag flange
from the base of the vacuum. (See Figure 17)

d. You can now use a tool or hanger to push
any debris completely through the dirt tube to
remove clog. (See Figure 17)
5. To Reassemble the Vacuum:
a. Reattach the dirt tube to the dust bag. Place
dust bag collar on dirt tube tabs.
b. Reattach red bag cap and pull up on dual zipper.
c. Replace bottom metal plate. Secure cam locks
on the bottom metal plate. (See Figure 15)
d. Turn vacuum right side up. Screw the outer bag
flange into base of vacuum. (See Figure 18)
