Note:
Please check before commissioning whether the batteries have
sufficient voltage reserve. The batteries are pre-charged and can be
easily recharged using the integrated solar panel. If the device does
not work properly, please check the voltage of the batteries used and
replace them if necessary. If necessary, charge the batteries fully
using an external charger. Batteries self-discharge during storage.
Thus, under certain circumstances, the full power may not be
available even with the first use, which can lead to a shortened
operating time
Attention: Important battery information
• Remove the batteries if you will not be using the device for an
extended period of time.
Leaking batteries may permanently damage the device.
• Battery disposal information:
Batteries are subject to legal regulations. This means they have to be
returned to the point of sale or brought to a public collection centre for
hazardous materials after use. Batteries may not be disposed of in
regular household garbage, with recyclable materials etc. Only put
batteries into the used battery collection container after they are fully
discharged, and take precautions against short circuits (e.g. tape over
the poles).

Detection range of the PIR motion detector
The following information on the PIR motion detector only serves as a
reference. Variable parameters, such as weather and environment,
have a negative influence on the sensitivity of the sensor.
PIR sensor:
Detection angle:
Approx. 120° (depending on the weather and
ambient conditions)
Range: Up to approximately 10 metres (depending on the weather and
ambient conditions)
Pause time: Approx. 8 seconds
Precautions
Do not point the device at neighboring properties or publicly
accessible areas. It is only intended for use on your own property.
The Animal Repeller is designed to solve problems with loose,
unleashed or stray animals. Make sure that the field of view of the
sensor is not blocked by e.g. Shrubs being hindered. These can
unintentionally trigger the device in windy conditions. On very hot
days it can happen that the sensor does not recognize the passing
animals and does not trigger the device.
Technical specifications
PIR sensor: 120 ° detection angle, approx. 10 m, adjustable
Range of water jet: approx. 10 m depending on the water pressure,
adjustable
Hose connection: standard quick release system
Operation: The monitoring sensor and valve are supplied with power
via rechargeable batteries, 4xAAA Micro 1.2V NiMh (rechargeable
batteries included in the scope of delivery), and they are charged via
the solar panel
Operating temperature: 0C ° to +50 C ° and ≤ 90% R.H.
Storage temperature: 5C ° to +50 C ° and ≤ 90% R.H.
Safety instructions
Important: Any damage caused by failure to observe the
instructions for use voids the warranty. ISOTRONIC assumes no
liability for resulting consequential damages.
