Choose a sunny spot in the garden. Fix the lower part of the solar shower to a tile or a heavy plate
with the supplied expansion bolts. Use 12 mm drill. Follow the assembly instructions as upper
pictures.
Use packing tape around all threads. Note that the thread must be completely covered with
packing tape. We recommend 10-15 laps packing tape. Note also that with packing tape affixed
only turn clockwise, if turning counter clockwise there is a risk that the assembly may leak. Do
not use tools to tighten after. Important: Fixtures and shower head should face in the same di-
rection.
Note: First time water is connected to the solar shower.
When filling up with water, the fixture must be in the HOT position. This to fill the hot water
tank and to ensure that no air pockets are generated in the shower. Garden hose is connected
to the outlet at the bottom of the solar shower. Turn on the faucet and let the water fill the solar
shower. It takes about 4-5 minutes to fill it. When the water begins to flow from the shower head
shut the fixture (turn to the CLOSED position to the far left). When the position is CLOSED the
heating of the water in the shower commences. Never let small children use the solar shower
without help from an adult!
Winter preparation
• Shut off the water to the water hose and remove it.
• Turn the fixture left in 100% HOT position so that the water stored in the pipes can be drained.
Draining takes about 4-5 minutes.
• Loosen the screws on the bottom of solbruseren and pour the remaining water out tive of wa-
ter holder and tube.
• The shower can be divided into two parts for easy storage.
• All parts are cleaned and dried.
• The solar shower should be stored indoors in a dry, shady and frost-proof place.
IMPORTANT
• Does not tolerate frost. Store indoors during winter.
• Recommended water pressure: 3.5 bar.
• The black pipes will expand when the water is heated, causing water to drip from the shower
head.
This phenomenon is normal.
• To remove the smell of plastic and oil that naturally follows a new solar shower, it is recommen-
ded to let the water run
IMPORTANT
A. Do not use during thunderstorms and lightening.
B. Be aware that during the hottest months, the water inside the solar shower may reach 60oC.
It is advisable to adjust the water temperature by using the control handle (D) before having a
shower.
Also, do not touch the surface of the solar shower as it may result in a slight scald.
C. The solar shower can be used in areas with temperatures above 3oC. Recommended maxi-
mum working pressure 3 bars.
D. Once the season has finished, turn the water supply off. In areas where the winter temperatu-
res can fall below 3oC, please drain out all the water from the inside of the solar shower and turn
on the handle(D) to full hot water position to avoid potential damages caused by water freezing.
E. There might be some water coming out when the shower and sprayers (optional) are turned
off. It is usual and will stop in 10-15 seconds.
MAINTENANCE
A. In order to clean the lime scale and other deposits accumulated in the shower head after a
long use, please stop the water supply and turn the controller off before taking them apart to be
cleaned.
