4.1 Air supply system
Connect the gun to a compressed air system featuring the following characteristics:
• Maximum air humidity: 5%
• Air temperature range from -10°C to +70°C
• System ow rate of at least 300l/min
The gun is equipped with a ¼ gas male threaded connector, which can be used for connection as needed.
The recommended maximum length of the gun connection tube is 10 m, with a minimum internal section of 6 mm, The hose
must be an application, spiral and conductive hose with a resistance of < 1 G a 23 ± 2 °C and of 50±5% of relative humidity.
The gun operates at a range of 4 to 6 BAR as required, with an approximate air consumption of 200-300 l/min
4.2 Cartridge re lls
by operator
Open the cartridge as speci ed in the instructions:
cut the end of the cartridge thread horizontally ( g. 4), leaving as
much thread as possible to improve tightening when attaching
the cartridge to the front base of the tube support (pos.8); if
there is a seal on the rear section, remove it completely, together
with the anti-humidity cartridge if tted.
The use of a special tool is recommended when opening the
cartridges; always avoid makeshift operations using blades, or
other sharp edges or utensils that may injure the operator.
Always disconnect the gun from the air supply when replacing the cartridges
Take care to cut the smallest amount possible of the thread on the cartridge ( g. 4), to leave as much thread as possible to
improve tightening when attaching the cartridge. Ensure that the seal (pos. 20) is present, intact and perfectly clean.
Otherwise, replace with the part supplied.
Always check the expiry date of all re ll cartridges used. The cartridges to be used are those in plastic ( g. 4).
If the cartridge speci cations are not as speci ed above, it must not be used.
Check that the cartridge contains uid, sprayable material (Ms polymer), and that the density allows for simple extrusion; if not,
it is recommended to change the type of material with a more uid version.
Always t cartridges that have no signs of deformation; even a small dent on the cartridge can cause malfunctions of the gun,
and also blockage of the lines due to hardening of the material inside, with consequent damage to the entire gun.
The gun is equipped with a pre-compression system to enable adaptation to the various cartridges commercially available. If
the cartridge support tube does not attach fully onto the gun, never apply excessive pressure, but activate a preliminary spray
and then tighten the tube down fully.
