SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Ensure that you only connect the appliance to sockets with the appropriate
voltage.
Do not leave the appliance unattended in the presence of children and keep
the appliance out of their reach.
The appliance is intended for use in the home and similar environments only.
It is not intended for commercial use.
Certain parts of the unit become very hot during operation. So that you do not
burn yourself, do not touch the appliance during operation.
Make sure that the power cord does not touch any hot surfaces during
operation.
Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the table or work surface.
Do not handle the appliance, power cord or plug with wet hands.
Do not immerse the device base in water or other liquids.
Leave enough space around the unit so that the air can circulate and the unit
does not overheat. Do not place the appliance directly next to fl ammable
objects, such as curtains. Do not cover the device during operation.
Do not use the appliance near explosive or highly fl ammable materials.
Do not clean the appliance with a metal sponge. Metal parts could come loose
and cause a short circuit.
Always switch off the appliance fi rst before cleaning it, removing or inserting
parts when they are fi nished or when it is not working properly.
Only use extension cords that are in good condition.
Do not switch off the unit by pulling the plug.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an
authorised specialist company or a similarly qualifi ed person.
Do not try to repair the device yourself.
We accept no liability for damage caused by disregarding the instructions or
improper use.
When you are no longer using the device, pull the plug out of the socket.
Children over 8 years as well as mentally, sensory and physically impaired
persons may only use the device if they have been informed in detail about
the functions and safety precautions by a supervisor responsible for them
beforehand and understand the associated risks.
CAUTION
Risk of burns! The surfaces of the unit become very hot during
operation. To avoid burning yourself, do not touch them.
