Checks before commissioning
Once mounting and installation of the nBox system is complete, ensure that the following checks are performed in
accordance with HD 60364-6 Section 61 before commissioning is started:
1. Inspect the permanent electrical system.
2. Test and measure the continuity of the conductors.
3. Test and measure the insulation resistance of the electrical system.
4. Test and measure the protection provided by automatic switch-off of the power supply (check upstream
fuses).
5. Test and measure the voltage polarity.
If an error is identified during testing and measurement, proceed as follows:
1. Rectify the error.
2. Repeat the checks (including any previously performed checks that may have been influenced by the error).
Note
i
To test the output circuits and locate the connected luminaires, hold down the test key for the
output circuit in question on the nBox for 1 to 3 seconds.

How to leave the system
Note
i
The points described here refer to the condition in which the system should be left if it has been
connected, but will not be commissioned until later.
Before leaving the nBox system, ensure that the following tasks have been completed:
— The mains fuse provided on site is open.
— If applicable: ONLITE BRI, ONLITE central eBox BPD and ONLITE central eBox BSIM are wired.
nBox
— Output circuits are connected.
— If applicable: signalling contacts, central phase monitors and emergency stop switch are wired.
— Fuse on the AC module has been removed; main switch is set to position 0.
— Battery fuses on the recharging device have been removed.
— Batteries are connected.
