BS Plug (optional)
If the product is fitted with a standard UK main outlet 3pin plug and the mains cable becomes damaged, it
should be replaced by a qualified electrician. If it is necessary to change the plug, the wiring instructions below
must be followed at all times. The fuse from the plug being replaced should be removed, as insertion into a
mains supply socket would be dangerous.
Mains plug wiring:
As the color of the wires in the mains cable may not correspond with the
colored markings identifying the terminals in the replacement plug, proceed
as follows:
The wire colored BROWN or RED must be connected to the terminal that is
marked with the letter "L".
The wire colored BLUE or BLACK must be connected to the terminal that is
marked with the letter "N".
If the mains cable includes an earth wire, colored GREEN or GREEN &
YELLOW, this must be connected to the earth terminal, which is marked "E"
or if the "EARTH" cable does not contain an earth wire then on connection
to the earth terminal is required.
Mains Fuse
The replacement plug (BS 1363 type) must be supplied with a 13-amp fuse.
