4.6 Full memory reset

Full memory reset erases current settings, including users data base and restores factory default
settings.
Reset procedure
1. Switch off power supply to FPAC-MAX FINGERPRINT.
2. Connect CLK terminal with IN2 terminal. (terminals of the fingerprint reader itself)
3. Switch on power supply to FPAC-MAX FINGERPRINT. The reader shall generate continuous
acoustic signal.
4. Disconnect CLK and IN2 terminals. (terminals of the fingerprint reader itself)
Communication parameters after reset:
IP address = 192.168.0.70
Subnet mask = 255.255.255.0
Port = 13544
Communication is encrypted with default (empty) password

4.7 Firmware update

Firmware update is performed by means of AC-MAX HW software. In order to update the firmware
after establishing connection with FPAC-MAX FINGERPRINT:
1. Select the command Tools in the top menu of AC-MAX HW software and then select Update
Firmware.
2. In the opened window select FPAC-MAX FINGERPRINT firmware file (*.frg extension) by means

AC-MAX FINGERPRINT keeps all its settings (including IP address) after firmware update.
