TONE
Using this controller, you can set the tone length or brevity.
1. Set the device to TONE.
2. If the DISC / TONE button is set to „0", all detected metals are confirmed
with a long tone. As you turn up the dial, fewer and fewer metals will be
confirmed with a long beep. The order of the metals from „0" to „10" is
identical to the DISC function.
ALL METAL
In this mode, all metals are indicated with a short tone. In this mode, the DISC /
TONE button is disabled.
TARGET
To determine the exact location in the ALL METAL mode, the sensitivity of the
device can be reduced with this button. Each time the sensitivity of the device
is lowered, and you need to get closer to the metal object in order to get a hit
or hear a sound.
1. Set the mode to ALL METAL
2. Press and hold the red TARGET button (6).
3. Hold a coin in the vicinity of the centre of the ring to test and a continuous
tone will sound. Release the button and press it again after 1-2 seconds.
No sound should be heard even though the coin is still in the same place.
You now need to hold the coin closer to the centre of the ring in order to
hear the continuous tone.
4. Repeat above-mentioned steps and reduce the sensitivity if necessary
until the exact position has been determined.
