General Operating Instructions
1. Assemble the device, put in batteries, turn it on and adjust the sensitivity.
2. Set the mode to ALL METAL and set sensitivity (SENS) to the highest level.
3. Adjust the volume to an audible level.
4. Swivel the search ring (23) in front of the device as
shown in the picture - approximately 1 to 5 cm from
the floor.
5. If you hear a beep or the display indicates, you have found a metal object.
6. If you have roughly identified the target location, press and hold the red
TARGET button and move the search ring slowly around the possible
position until a continuous beep is heard. Hold the detector still, release
the red button and push the button again after 1-2 seconds. There should
be no beep sound. Move the detector again until a continuous tone
sounds. Repeat this until you have determined the exact location of the
metal object.
7. The DISC / TONE mode can determine the type of metal found, so that
you may decide whether you want to dig up the object. Note that the
discrimination value of the metal may be affected by the environment (salt
water, mineral content of the soil, etc.).
8. To avoid accidents, turn the power off and remove batteries after use.
Clean the unit and store it out of reach of children.
