MODES OF USE

The device has 4 modes of use: DISC, TONE, ALL METAL and TARGET.
• DISC, TONE and ALL METAL may be used when you are moving with the
device.
• With TARGET, you can determine the exact position of the metal object in
case it is not on the ground in plain sight.
Before going out on a search, test
the device with metal samples, such
as:
• iron nail
• 10/20/50 euro cent coin
(copper)
• 1 or 2 euro coin (copper / nickel)
• silver coin
Assemble the device, put in batteries, turn it on and adjust the sensitivity. Now
test the different modes:
DISC (Discrimination)
Using this function, you can limit the type of metal that you want to search for,
or determine the metal detected. Test in which discrimination these sample
metals are detected.
1. Set the device to DISC
2. If the DISC / TONE button is set to „0", all metals are found. When the dial
is turned up, you will detect fewer metals. Order of the metals from „0" to
„10":
• iron
• nickel
• gold
• bronze
• zinc
• copper
• silver
• aluminium
