QUADRO – Wireless weather station
• Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucosa when handling leaking batteries. In case of
contact, immediately rinse the affected areas with water and consult a doctor.
Important information on product safety!
• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.
• Protect the base station from moisture.
• The outdoor transmitter is protected against splash water, but is not watertight.
Choose a shady and dry position for the transmitter.

6. Getting started

6.1 Insert batteries

• Remove the protective films from the displays of the base station and the transmitter.
• Open the battery compartments of the transmitter and receiver and place both instru-
ments on a desk with a distance of approximately 1.5 meter from each other. Avoid
being close to possible sources of interference such as electronic devices and radio
equipment.
• Insert at first two batteries 1,5 V AAA in the battery compartment of the transmitter
and immediately afterwards two batteries 1,5 V AA in the battery compartment of the
base station. Make sure the polarities are correct.
• All LCD segments will light up for about a few seconds
• The unit is now ready to use and starts to scan the outdoor sensor data.
• After a successful installation close the battery compartments carefully.
6.2 Reception of outdoor values
• The base station automatically starts scanning the 433 MHz signal to register the
transmitter after batteries are inserted. If the reception of outdoor values fails, "- -"
appears on the display. Check the batteries and try it again. Check if there is any
source of interference.
• Manual initialization can be helpful. Press the CHANNEL button for 3 seconds. The
registered channel will be cancelled.
7. How to operate

7.1 Manual settings

• Press and hold the TIME button for three seconds in normal mode to enter the setting
mode.
• The first adjustable value flashes on the display.
• Use the UP or DOWN button to make the desired setting.
Confirm with the TIME button and go to the next setting.
• The sequence is shown as follows:
– Hours, minutes
– Year, month, day
– Day-of week language: German (GE), English (EN), Italian (IT), French (FR), Dutch
(NE), Spanish (SP) and Danish (DA).
• Holding UP or DOWN button, you will enter fast mode.
• The instrument will quit automatically the setting mode, if there is no button used
within 8 seconds.
