Object of the game
Introduction to the principle of the binary code.
Each square contains a piece of information.
That information, a colour and a number, must
be converted into pixels. Place the pixels on a
special card to make a cute pixel art figure.
The game
Select a task card and a corresponding base
card. A small task card has a colour strip on the
right; also take the base card with a colour strip
and carry out the task. The task card contains e.g.
a grey square containing the number 2, followed
by a green square containing the number 3.
Leave 2 grey squares open on the base card and
then place your 3 green pixels on the base card.
Continue to follow the instructions of the task
line for line and make a cute pixel figure.
Game variation: make up a figure yourself with
the coloured pixels and note the code. Ask
another player to carry out your task. If the figure
is correct, then you are already brilliant at coding
with pixels.
