ASSEMBLY OF THE UNIT
The unit is delivered ready to use. If necessary, only the suction option needs to be
installed. Place the adapter (D) in the extraction port (E) until its tab clicks into the
notch in the port and connect the pipe from a dust extractor to the adapter. Connect
the appliance plug to an external dust extractor so that the automatic extraction
function can be activated when the milling machine is switched on.
Diameter of the tip of the extraction connector: 35 mm.

To remove the extraction connector (D), press its "tongue" and pull it out of the
socket (E).

Working with the unit

3.3.1 Guard flaps
When milling flat surfaces, the protective flaps (G) should be closed
(lowered). During external milling (e.g. slot milling), only swivel (raise
completely) the protective flap corresponding to the workpiece side
- see the following 3 pictures.
