OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING
RECOMMENDATION
The device is not suitable for sandy water. The
well must be cleansed in advance, if the well
is sandy in order to clean silting. The warranty
claim will be lapsed if the damage is caused by
silted water.
Before using the pump
for the first time insert
and tie a long, sturdy
rope or cord through
the suspension eyes.
ATTENTION: RISK
OF DAMAGE TO THE
APPLIANCE!
Do not lift the pump
with the cable or pres-
sure hose as these are
not designed for the
tensile stress from the
weight of the pump.
NOTE: Use a sufficiently strong rope which is
resistant to water and to UV-radiation. In the
case of continuous use of the pump with the
rope, the condition of the rope must be checked
regularly as it can decay and break over time.
CONNECT PRESSURE PIPE
IMPORTANT: For occasional use, make sure
to use a suitable water hose.
IMPORTANT: The use of rigid pipes with a
non-return valve is recommended for use at a
fixed location. This prevents return flow of the
liquid when switching off.
THREADED CONNECTION
– Screw pressure line onto the
pressure connection.
NOTA: All threaded connections
must be sealed with thread
sealing tape.
- When using a hose, screw a
suitable hose adapter onto the
pressure connection.
- Push the hose firmly onto the hose adapter
and secure with a hose clamp.
INSTALLATION
ATTENTION: RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE AP-
PLIANCE! Do not place the device on the bottom
of the well but must be suspended in the water
at minimum 1 m above the bottom.

tion from the base of

- Lower the pump into the pump shaft.
- If the depth is greater than 3 m, clip the con-
nection cable to the rope at regular intervals,
using corrosion-resistant clips.
NOTE: If the connection cable is not clamped, it
can happen that the connection cable jams the
pump when it is being drawn out.
- Tighten the end of the rope firmly after lower-
ing.
NOTE: Do not operate the pump without pres-
sure hose. Avoid the pump rotating around its
longitudinal axis.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
DANGER: Ensure that the electrical connec-
tion unit does not come into contact with water!
- Fix the electrical con-
nection unit by means
of 4 screws (9) in a lo-
cation protected from
splashes. The connec-
tion cables (10) must
point downwards.
- Plug in the mains
plug.
OPERATION
ATTENTION: Danger of damage to the appli-
ance. Do not allow the appliance to run dry (the
water mirror must be at least 50 cm above the
suction holes).
- Check the pump ignition with the on/off switch
(see previous illustration, 8).
OVERLOAD PROTECTION
The appliance is equipped with overload pro-
tection. This switches the motor off if it is over-
loaded.
If the overload protection was triggered:
1. Eliminate the cause of the overload (Malfunc-
tions and troubleshooting – p. 7 ).
2. Actuate the motor protection switch (7).
