FRIENDLY AND NON-FRIENDLY COOKWARE
Friendly cookware:
Material: Iron or stainless steel. Shape: Bottom diameter about 12-20 cm saucepan or
bottom size is 12-20 cm square pot.
Non-friendly cookware:
Material: non-iron metal, ceramic, glass and the bottom is made of cooper or aluminum
pot. Shape: bottom uneven, diameter less than 12 cm
USE
•
First check that the voltage marked on the product is the same as your supply
voltage.
•
Select a suitable position close to an electric socket, on a dry and even surface.
•
Make sure the control is in the OFF position (MIN). Plug in.
•
The invisible protective coating must be removed before you can use the appliance.
To do this, set the control to the maximum setting and leave switched on for
approximately 3-5 minutes. Smoke will develop make sure that the room is ventilated.
Switch off the cooking plate and allow to cool down completely. The cooking plate
is now ready for use.

Always use flat-bottomed saucepans, which make good contact with the cooking
plate. The saucepan bases should ideally be of the same size as the cooking plate.

Select the temperature. Turn temperature controller from "MIN" to "MAX" and adjust
during cooking as needed. The cooking plate has a range of temperatures. The
indicator light will turn on to indicate that the cooker is heating. The indicator light will
turn off when it reaches the selected temperature.
•
Due to the cooking plate's construction, residual heat will remain after switching off.
This may be used to keep food warm for a short period.
•
After use, turn the temperature dial to "MIN" and unplug the appliance from the
electrical outlet.
Note:
•
Use only stainless steel, aluminium and ceramic. NOT GLASS.
•
Use cooking pots or pans that have a flat base.
•
The diameter of the pan base needs to be smaller than the diameter of the heating
plate.
