Special precautions
Only pour cold water into the appliance's tank.
•
Only put ground coffee in the coffee filter.
•
Do not use the glass jug if it is cracked or the
•
handle is loose or in a weakened state.
Never put a hot jug down on a cold surface.
•
Do not operate your coffee machine without water.
•
Under no circumstances should the jug be placed
•
in a microwave oven to heat up the coffee.
If you want to prepare multiple coffee cycles, allow
•
the appliance to cool before refilling the tank with
cold water. Turn the coffee machine off for about
5 minutes before the next cycle.
Some of the appliance's surfaces (particularly the
•
hot plate) may become hot when in use.
The hot plate is hot when the coffee machine
•
is turned on. Do not touch it: risk of burns!
Do not lift the tank's lid while coffee is brewing:
•
the steam may cause burns!
Do not leave the jug empty on the hot plate,
•
as doing so could damage it.
