TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
The lid could not be closed
The cooker does not build up
pressure
Steam escapes from the over-
pressure plug or the gasket
too early
The lid could not be opened
Possible reason
①The lid lock does not drop
down
②The lid is not placed flatly
①The heat source is too
small
②Steam escapes at the edge
of the lid
③The regulator is at the
quick-release position
①The lid is too greasy
②The silicon gasket is aged
③The heat source is too
strong
①The cooker is still under
pressure
②The regulator is not at the
quick-release level
③The socket for the lock pin
is dirty
How to correct problem
①Push the lid lock down
②Place the lid flatly
①Turn up the heat source
properly
②Clean the overpressure
plug and gasket. Insert the
gasket correctly again. If the
gasket is damaged, replace it.
③Move the regulator to the
cooking pressure level
①Clean the lid with deter-
gent, especially the gasket
②Replace the silicon gasket
with a new one
③Turn down the heat source
properly
①Do not open the lid until
the steam has been expelled
completely
②Push the regulator to the
quick-release level
③You may help the lock pin
break away from the socket
by inserting one thin thing
between the side lid handle
and the side pot handle(see
picture A). Then clean the
socket.
