4 Operation
4.1

General

Before working with the device it is necessary to read and follow the instructions of the cutter/angle
grinder.
The operation of the device SAFEFLEX SF should only be performed on even and solid ground.
While cutting (with cutter/angle grinder) the device has to stand steady on the ground to exclude turning
over. Otherwise there is a risk of accident!
4.2

Height adjustment of the foot plate

•
Depending on thickness of the materials (paver stones),
the foot plate (4) has to be adjusted similar on both sides
of the scale (2).
•
To do so, pull the spring pins (9) out and turn them by 180°.
•
Set the foot plate to the required height, then secure it by
snappping the spring pins (9) back.
