2. PREPARATION
Preparation
• Read the instructions carefully. Familiarize yourself with the controls and the use of the equipment.
• Never let children or people who are not familiar with these instructions use this short gram. The age of use can be
regulated by local laws.
• Never mow the lawn while people are present or waxing, especially children or animals.
• Keep in mind that the person responsible for any accident or damage to another person or property belongs to the
operator or to the user.
• When cutting the lawn, always wear safety shoes and long pants. Do not use the equipment with bare feet or with
sandals.
• Check the area where you will be working with the equipment in depth and remove any object that can be thrown by
the machine.
WARNING: The fuel is highly flammable.
- Store fuel in containers
specifically designed for this use.
- Fill the tank outdoors only and do not smoke while refueling.
- Add fuel before starting the engine. Never remove the fuel filler cap while the engine is running or when the engine is
hot.
- Do not start the engine if it has dropped any fuel; remove the machine from the place where the fuel was spilled and
avoid approaching any source of heat that might cause it to explode; stay away until all the vapors have dissipated.
- Replace all fuel caps on the machine and containers if they do not close correctly.
• Replace the muffler by default.
• Before using, visually inspect the blades, the bolts, and make sure that the blades that make up the blades are not
used or damaged. Replace the damaged or worn blades and make sure the bolts are in place for proper balance.
Use
a) Do not start the engine in enclosed places where the carbon monoxide gas can accumulate.
b) Follow the lawn with good daylight or good artificial light.
c) When possible, avoid using wet grass equipment.
d) Keep your feet securely on the ground when you cut the game below.
e) Camine, never run.
f ) For rolled rolling machines, follow the crusher when it is on a slope, never up and down.
g) Extremely cautious when changing direction on a slope.
h) Do not cut grass on steep slopes.
i) Be careful when going back or pulling the short grass for you.
j) Stop the engine if you have to tilt the lawn mower or when you are going to move another type of surface that is not
grass or when you are going to transport it from one place to another to work with it.
k) Never use lawn mowers with defective protections or no safety devices in place, such as: baffles or lawn mowers for
cut grass.
l) Do not change the engine usage parameters or increase engine speed.
m) Disengage the blade and the clutch of the engine before starting the engine.
n) Start the engine manually or with the starter motor carefully as indicated and with the feet well away from the leaves.
o) Do not tilt the lawn mower when starting the engine manually or electrically, unless it is strictly necessary to start it.
In this case, do not tilt more than is absolutely necessary and tilt only the part that is far from the operator.
p) Do not start the engine when it is stopped in front of the ejection mouth.
q) Do not place your hands or feet under the rotating part. Keep away from the discharge nozzle at all times.
r) Never lift or transport the machine while the engine is running.
s) Stop the engine and unplug the spark plug before removing anything that blocks or blinds the engine and:
- Before performing any mowing, cleaning or repair of the lawnmower.
- After striking any object requiring it to inspect the lawn for any damage or repair needs and before resuming work.
- If the lawn mower starts to vibrate abnormally, check it immediately.
t) Stop the engine:
"Whenever you walk away from the short lawn. "
- Before refueling.
