1. Lift the handlebar until the bottom of the handlebar is secured
in its position to cut.
2. Remove the protective padding and raise the top of the hand-
lebar until it snaps into the bottom of the handle and tighten the
two handlebars.
3. Remove the padded bracket from the operator control hand-
lebar

4. Side Discharge: Install side discharge cover. (Figure 1) Mulching
Kit Only: Remove the side discharge cap (Figure 2)

The brake lever must be depressed until it reaches the handlebar to start the engine. To stop the engine, release the
handle.

Control levers. The control handle is used to transmit the movement to the propellers and to put the cutting lawn in
motion.
Speed of your lawn mower's engine
The motor speed is set at the factory for optimum operation. The speed can not be adjusted.

Control elements

• Self-propelling is controlled by holding the operator control bar, pull down until it contacts the handlebar, and push
the transmission control lever forward until it clicks. Now, release the handle.
• The forward movement will stop when the operator releases the control bar. To stop the forward motion without stop-
ping the engine, loosen the control rod slightly until the gear disengages. Hold the control bar against the handlebar to
continue cutting without self-propulsion.
Adjust the cutting height
Lift the wheels to make a low cut and lower the wheels to make a deep cut. Adjust the height according to your needs.
The average position is usually the best for most cases.
Fill oil before starting engine
Before and after use, you should check the oil level and, if necessary, fill it at the top with 500 ml of SAE 10W30 engine
