I CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
· To protect against electrical shock or burns, do not immerse unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
· Failure to maintain this appliance in a clean condition could adversely affect the life of the appliance
and possibly result in a hazardous situation.
I PRODUCT-SPECIFIC WARNINGS
· The thermometer is not waterproof and can not be used in the dishwasher.
· Never immerse the appliance in water.
· Never use the thermometer in a closed oven.
· Always clean the sensor after use and place the silicone protection cap over the sensor.
· Replace the batteries if the screen becomes blurry.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

Remove the silicone protection cap and clean the probe and the thermometer before the first use with a
damp cloth.
USE
1. First place the batteries that are packed seperately (see 'Replace batteries'). The thermometer turns
on automatically.
2. Remove the silicone protection cap. Press the on/off button to turn on the thermometer.
3. With the °C/°F button you can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
4. Stick the point of the probe in the middle of the meat (in the oven or in the frying pan) to measure
the temperature. The measurement is correct when the indication on the display does not change
anymore. This takes about 4 to max. 10 seconds.
