Sharpening of cutting blades
TRAPP multipurpose shredders leave factory
with temperate cutting blades, prolonging
cutting durability. Sharpen the cutting blades
when the edge is dull. Sharpen the side
indicated only (figure 4, 5 and 6), trying to
keep its original inclination. Whenever
sharpening, be careful to remove the same
amount of material from each cutting blade to
keep balance and to avoid vibrations of the
axle unit. The cutting blades shall be substituted
whenever optimum sharpening is no longer
possible.

To sharpen the vertical knives of the palm (cacti)
shredder, use a file, removing the material only
on the indicated side as in figure 6.
Attention!
Always turn off equipment and unplug
it before servicing or cleaning.
