Using the battery monitor

The dual-level battery monitor prevents your vehicle battery from discharging
to a low level when the device is connected to the 12 V or 24 V on-board
supply.
On the HIGH level, the battery monitor responds faster than on the LOW level
(see the following table).

➤ Slide the switch (2 1, page 3) on the control panel downwards to the
"HIGH" position, if the cooler is connected to the starter battery.
➤ Slide the switch (2 1, page 3) on the control panel upward to the
"LOW" position if the cooler is connected to a supply battery.

Using the cooler

➤ Place the cooler on a firm base. Make sure that the ventilation slots
are not covered and that the heated air can be dissipated.
➤ Connect the cooler to a 12 or 24 V
(only for FR-145AC/DC).
Setting the cooling temperature
The temperature is read and set on the control panel on the front.
➤ Press the "SET" button once briefly (3 5, page 3) to display the set
cooling temperature.
➤ Press the "SET" button for about 3 seconds to set the cooling temperature.
✓ The message SP (Setpoint) will be displayed.
➤ Continue pressing the selection buttons "
(3 4, page 3), until the desired cooling temperature is displayed.
➤ Confirm the setting by pressing the "SET" button again (3 5, page 3).
✓ The temperature indicator starts flashing.
✓ The display changes back to the indication of the actual temperature in
the cooling interior.
