Simplified leak check
Check the cylinder system for leaks every time you replace a cylinder or if the system has not
been used for some time.
1. The gas cylinder valves on the operating and reserve side are closed.
2. The visual indicator type AUV is RED.
3. The gas supply to the connected consumer equipment is closed.
4. Open the gas cylinder valves on the operating and reserve side.
5. The visual indicator type AUV changes from RED to GREEN.
6. Close gas cylinder valves on the operating and reserve side.
The visual indicator type AUV must not change within 15 minutes (from
GREEN to RED), otherwise the cylinder system has a leak!
The simplified leak testing process does not replace the pressure and leak testing of the LPG
system by a professional.
Test connection for leak tester
A leak tester can be connected to the test connection
LPG system.
8. Spray the connection with a foam producing substance according to
EN 14291 (e.g. leak spray, item no. 02 601 00).
9. More bubbles will form in the foam producing substance if there are any
leaks.
10. Fasten the screw cap back on the test connection

START-UP

After the product has been ASSEMBLED and LEAK TESTING has been carried out
successfully, it is immediately ready for operation.
