PERIODIC MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

NOTE: If a separate engine manual is provided for this water pump, please follow the maintenance schedule provided in
the engine manual instead of the maintenance information listed below.
Maintenance Items
Check engine lubricant
Change engine lubricant*
Check reduction gear lubricant (if equipped)
Change reduction gear lubricant (if equipped)
Check air filter
Clean air filter
Replace air filter
Clean fuel sediment cup (if equipped)
Clean and adjust spark plug***
Clean spark arrestor
Check and adjust idling (if equipped)**
Check and adjust valve clearance**
Clean fuel tank and fuel filter
Check fuel lines
Remove carbon from cylinder head**
* Initial lubricant change should be performed after first 20 hours of operation. Thereafter, change lubricant every 50 hours.
Used lubricant should be disposed of at an approved disposal site. See your local lubricant retailer for more information.
These items should only be carried out by a qualified service center.
