This appendix is applicable the following models with a ROPS
attached.
Bad Boy: Rebel 747, Rogue 852, Renegade 993, Renegade
1100. Exmark: Lazer Z. Ferris: 700Z. Hustler: FasTrak, Super
Z. John Deere: 1025R. Kioti: ZCE SE. Kubota: ZD1021, B3200.
Mean Green Mower: Rival. Rural King: RK24, RK21, RK19.
Scag: Turf Tiger, Patriot, Freedom Z. Simplicity: Cobalt.
Snapper: Pro S200XT. Steiner: 440. Wright: 33H24D.
Step 1 (figure 16)
1. On the tool rack frame, insert a square plug (S) into the
end of each ROPS tube (3) with the holes, not the end
with the slot.
tIp: Put plug in place and then with plug flat on the
table, push down on frame to fully snap the plug into
place.
2. Insert each ROPS tube (3) into the end holes in the
bottom of the frame (as shown) with the ROPS tube slot
facing up.
3. Secure each ROPS tube (3) using a hex bolt (I) and
NYLOC hex nut (D) as shown. Do not tighten completely.

Step 2 (figure 17)
Note: This step requires two people. One to hold the
tool rack frame in place and one to insert the U-bolts.
Note: This step can be performed with or without the
bed assembly attached to the tool rack frame.
1. While holding the tool rack frame (1) in place, align the
holes in the ROPS tube (3) with the holes in the tractor
ROPS frame (i) as shown.
2. Insert a U-bolt (T) through the ROPS frame (i) and ROPS
tube (3).
Note: Depending on the size of the ROPS frame, a
clamp bracket (14) and two hex bolts (U) may be used.
See Figure 18.
3. Secure each bolt with a washer (L), loc washer (P), and
hex nut (Y).
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 on the other side of the frame.
5. Tighten all 4 hex nuts (Y).
6. Tighten the two hex bolts (D) installed in Figure 16.
7. If the tool rack bed (7) is not attached to the tool rack
frame, see "Attach Bed Assembly to Tool Rack Frame" on
page 6 for instructions.
