The European Physical Agents (Vibration) Directive has been brought in to
help reduce hand arm vibration syndrome injuries to users of product' s
with vibration emission. The directive requires manufacturers and
suppliers to provide indicative vibration test results to enable users to
make informed decisions as to the period of time a product can be used

Prolonged use of this product expose the operator to vibrations and
may produce 'whitefinger' disease. In order to reduce the risk, please
wear gloves and keep your hands warm. If any of the 'whitefinger'
symptoms appear, seek medical advice immediately. 'Whitefinger'
symptoms include: numbness, loss of feeling, tingling, pricking, pain,
loss of strength, changes in skin colour or condition. These symptoms
normally appear in the fingers, hands or wrists. The risk increases at low
temperatures.
