REPLACEMENT OF DISCS AND WHEELS
ACCESSORY REPLACEMENT
1.
Before you begin, verify that the power tool plug is
compatible with the outlet. Never modify plugs or
outlets in any way.
2.
Disconnect the electrical tool from the power
supply before replacing any accessories.
3.
Press the spindle lock to block the gears from
turning. Loosen the outer flange by using the pin
wrench.
CAUTION! ONLY PRESS THE SPINDLE LOCK DOWN
BUTTON WHEN THE ENGINE HAS COMPLETELY
STOPPED!
4.
Replace the old grinding accessory. Check the new
grinding disc or wheel. It must not be damaged,
wet, or cracked. Install the new grinding wheel
in accordance with the disc assembly flange
requirements shown on page 5 of this manual.
5.
After correctly installing the new grinding wheel,
tighten the outer flange by depressing the spindle
lock and using the pin wrench to tighten the outer
flange.
6.
After replacing a grinding accessory, run the
angle grinder tool with no load for one minute.
Pay attention to unusual sounds, vibrations, or
sparks. Discontinue use immediately if the grinding
accessory is running uneasily or vibrating after
replacement.
EXPERT TIP:
•
For best results when grinding move the grinder
steadily in a back-and-forth motion at an angle
of 15 to 30 degrees (between abrasive accessory
and the workpiece) with moderate pressure.
Do not press the tool too forcefully against the
workpiece. If the rotational speed of the tool

usage, and if applicable, repaired. The inspection
must include cord, tool, plug, switch, guard, and

be disconnected from the power supply before any
maintenance or repair takes place.

Always keep the electric tool clean. The vent holes
have to be kept free and there must net be any
contaminant, as e.g. chipping in the holes.
4. Unsuitable tools and improper repairs can cause
injuries; in this case the manufacturer bears no
responsibility for injuries or damage and the
warranty becomes void.
