mation on the operation and handling of the
product. Keep these operating instructions

1. Safety instructions

All safety instructions and working instruc-
tions for the telescopic ladder remain
applicable.
The stand-off and tool tray is an additional
accessory that makes working with the
telescopic ladder easier, but all instructions
for the ladder still apply.
Only use the telescopic ladder with stand-
off and tool tray if you are familiar with all
safety instructions. Incorrect use of the
ladder may have serious consequences.
If you are not aware of this, please do not
use the ladder. On the website www.bata-

all manuals. If you are not familiar with the
safety instructions, please read all of them
carefully before using the ladder.
Improper use of the ladder creates hazards
that may lead to serious injury with even
fatal results.
Manufacturer or dealer shall not be liable for
any damage resulting from improper or
incorrect use.

2. Before using for the first time

Remove the product and the accessories
from the packaging. Check the product for
transport damage and do not use the prod-
uct if damaged. Keep the packaging mate-
rial away from children, danger of
suffocation!

4. Intended use

Stand-off and tool tray are designed for
Batavia telescopic ladders in the Profes-
sional series and the Giraffe Air series for
the lengths 2.63m, 3.27m and 3.81m.

5. Use of stand-off and tool tray

With this stand-off and tool tray, you have
all the tools within easy reach. No unneces-
sary climbing up and down the ladder dur-
ing your work.
You can also use the tool tray as a spacer to
stabilise the ladder, for a stable and safe
working position. Ideal for use in inside and
outside corners due to the V-shape
construction.
Easy to install on the telescopic ladder
below the top step.
With several tool trays and compartments,
all tools are within easy reach.
And handy large compartments, for exam-
ple for storing a paint can when painting or
for a sponge and cloth when cleaning win-
dows. Comes with an elastic band to keep
all the tools firmly in place.
Stand-off and tool tray are of a sturdy, dura-
ble plastic construction, with rubber edges
and non-slip surface for added stability.
The rubber edges also protect the material
the ladder is placed against, for example
your walls.

6. Assembly

The tool tray can only be mounted directly
below the top step.

tions for mounting the tool tray properly:
