6.1.1 MMA welding process
. Fix the ground cable next to the part to be welded;
. Turn on the equipment using the on/off button (8);
. For the MIS 100A model, select the MMA mode using the button (3), for other models this operation is not
necessary;
. Adjust the potentiometer (4) according to the diameter of the electrode and the material to be welded. The
current value will be shown on the digital display (2);
. Place the electrode in the electrode holder;
. Position the electrode to the part to be welded and start work.
. When the electrode is at 1cm to 2cm, replace it with a new one.
ATTENTION: During the welding process the electrodes reach high temperatures. Always wear suitable gloves
to avoid burns.
6.2 Welding in TIG Mode
To weld with TIG mode it is necessary to purchase a TIG Schulz Torch, this item is not included with the product.
In addition to an argon regulator and argon gas cylinder;
Ground Cable Connection – To weld in TIG mode, mount the Ground Cable connector on the positive pole (+);
Electrode holder connection – the electrode holder must be connected to the negative pole (-);
The argon gas hose must be installed in the gas inlet of the TIG torch.
6.2.1 TIG welding process
. Open the argon gas regulator;
. Fix the ground cable next to the part to be welded;
. Turn on the equipment using the on/off button (8);
. For the MIS 100A model, select the TIG mode on the button (3), for other models this operation is not necessary;
. Adjust the potentiometer (4) according to the diameter of the tungsten electrode and the material to be welded.
The current value will be shown on the digital display (2);
. Open torch valve to release argon gas;
. Position the torch tip to the part to be welded and start the work;
. To finish the process, pull the torch tip away and close the torch valve.
