8. Double click and hold trigger until the cut is com-
plete. The cutting process can be interrupted at any
time by releasing the trigger and the blade can be
retracted with the retract button on the tool.
9. Remove the battery before setting up for another
cut or placing tool in storage.
Note: Tool will automatically shut off when idle for 15 min. This will be
indicated by countdown on the OLED screen. Pressing the trigger or
any buttons will reset the countdown.

Remote

1. Attach the cutter to hot stick.
i. Remove Battery before attaching the hot stick
mount to the tool. Severe injury can result from
unexpected activation of the cutting cycle.
ii. Unscrew the wing nut to open the mount.
iii. Open the mount and place it around the
housing of the In-Line Remote Cutter. Line up
the hinge with the trigger. (Fig. 2)

iv. Close the mount around the handle so that the
hinge presses down on the trigger.
v. Tighten wing nut and screw so the mount is
secure and pressing down on the trigger. (Fig. 3)

vi. Line up hot stick head and hot stick universal
spline adapter. (Fig. 4)
vii. Insert the hot stick mount knob from the tool
side and turn enough to attach to the hot stick
end. Leave the knob loose enough to allow
for adjustment of the position then tighten to
engage the teeth to keep the cutter in position.

2. Insert battery once tool is secured to the hot stick.
3. Keep hands away from the cutting head and
support tool to look at the OLED screen. Press and
hold both buttons to view User Select Screen. Cycle
through screens using the right button to scroll to
the Remote profile.
4. Press the toggle switch on the remote to activate
Remote mode. The blue LED on the remote will start
flashing.
5. Wait for the ID of the remote to appear on the
screen, then press the button next to the name on
the OLED screen. The ID of the remote is found in
front of the above the remote's signal decal.
