WARNING
Before starting to install and work with this
device, please read the Safety Instructions.
This device shall only be connected to power
supplies compliant to EN60950-1, chapter 2.5
("limited power source").
When changing or installing a SPCW110/101 on
the SPC-series system, ensure that all anti-static
precautions are adhered to while handling
connectors, wires, terminals and PCBs.
Introduction to the SPCW110
The SiWay RF-Kit provides the SPC controller with a
wireless interface (868 MHz) enabling Intrunet wireless
devices to be enrolled on the system. The SPCW110
incorporates the following elements, as shown in
Fig. 2.
1. SMA connector
Female SMA connector to attach an external
antenna.
2. Two 10 pin connectors
To connect the wireless receiver module to the
SPC control panel.
3. LED
Activated if wireless telegrams are received. The
LED is indication the reception of all wireless
telegrams. It is also indicating the reception of not
valid wireless telegrams.
Installing the wireless module
WARNING
When replacing or installing modules on the
SPC system, always ensure that the mains
supply and the battery are disconnected.
If a primary modem is installed, it has to be
removed for plugging the wireless receiver
module. Afterwards the primary modem can be
plugged again.

Locate the circular knockouts at the top of the
metallic enclosure. Choose the desired knockout
and carefully knock out an access area.
Unscrew the top of the antenna from the base
mounting. Insert the base mounting of the antenna
into exposed knockout opening. Fit the washer and
nut onto the base and tightly screw it on to the
enclosure. Screw the top of the antenna onto the
base mounting.
Screw the SMA male connector into the female
connector on the wireless receiver.
Enable the external antenna operation on the system
(wireless module only):
Enter Full Engineer mode WIRELESS >
