If it is not cleaned adequately, bacteria, algae and fungi may form in the water and
on the water filter.
Rinsing the tank
Always rinse the tank with clean water before filling it up again. If the air is heavily pollut-
ed, the device is used intensively or the water quality is poor, the maremed
cleaned at more frequent intervals. If necessary, remove any deposits in the tank using a
cleaning cloth.
Alternatively: The tank is dishwasher-safe. Set the dishwasher to a gentle cycle (for
cleaning glass) and if possible remove the part before the drying process. The cycle must
not exceed a temperature of 50 °C otherwise the plastic parts may deform.
Cleaning the fan unit
You can wipe the fan unit with a damp cloth. However, make sure that no liquid enters the
fan unit under any circumstances.

Storage
If you do not plan to use the device for a relatively long period of time, we recommend that
you thoroughly empty, clean and dry the device and store it in the original packaging in a
dry environment, ensuring it is not weighed down by additional items.
