6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Please, unplug your appliance from outlet before cleaning. Pour some
water into the coffee pot and shake it.
NEVER wash the coffee pot by means
of immersing it into water, under water or
wash in the dishwasher.
With the exception of the coffee pot, wipe
the main body of the appliance, including
the energy transmission base, only with
a dry or damp cloth, NEVER plunge it into
water or wash in the dishwasher.
Do not clean any of the appliance
accessories with harsh and chemical cleaners (bleach, hydrochloric
acid, etc.) except the cleaners used for this type of appliances. Do not
use abrasive cleaners, metal objects, hard sponges, wire brushes or
harsh cleaners to clean the appliance.
Cleaning Suggestion After Preparing Milk Turkish Coffee and
Beverages with Milk
You can also prepare milky beverages such as milk coffee, hot
chocolate and salep in our product. After brewing such beverages, rinse
the coffee pot with water. The coffee pot rinsed with water will cool
down a bit. Then, take out the mixing apparatus inside and wipe the
inside of your coffee pot with a soft cloth, such as a dish sponge, and
easily clean the residue* without using chemicals such as detergents.
You may wash the removed mixing apparatus under the tap. Put the
cleaned apparatus back to its place and make the product ready for
use. Make sure that the apparatus is fully seated. If it is not fully seated,
it may cause splashing.
*The cleaning of the residue/crust part will vary according to the
material used, the amount of material, and the waiting time after
brewing.
Removing Calcification
Lime inside the water used in time may pile up inside the coffee pot and
thus may reduce the performance of your appliance.
You can clean your appliance's cooking pot with a decalcifying product
specific to electrical kitchen appliances or you may try environmental
friendly solutions such as white vinegar.
