6.3 Battery capacity indicator
(Fig. 3 / item 10)
Press the battery capacity indicator switch (11).
The battery capacity indicator (10) shows the
charge status of the battery using 3 LEDs.
All 3 LEDs lit:
The battery is fully charged.
2 or 1 LED(s) lit:
The battery has an adequate remaining charge.
1 LED fl ashing:
The battery is empty, recharge the battery.
All LEDs fl ashing:
The temperature of the battery is too low. Remove
the battery from the device and leave it at room
temperature for a day. If the error occurs again,
this means that the battery has been completely
depth-discharged and is defective. Remove the
battery from the device. Never use or charge a
defective battery.
6.4 LED lamp (Fig. 3/Item 9)
The LED light (9) can be used in poor lighting
conditions to illuminate the area where you want
to drill or screw. The LED light (9) will come on
automatically as soon as you press the On/Off
switch (4).
6.5 Setting the screwing depth (Fig. 4)
Using the depth setting ring (2) with latching
settings you can pre-select the depth to which the
screw is screwed into the workpiece.
PLUS direction: larger screwing depth
MINUS direction: smaller screwing depth
The best way to establish the required setting is
screwing in a screw on a test basis fi rst. Press
the tip of the screw fi rmly against the material
in question until the screwing depth stop (1)
comes up against the workpiece and the coupling
disengages.
6.6 Changing the screwdriver bit (Fig.4)
To change the screwdriver bit (Fig.4), rotate the
screwing depth stop (1) with the depth setting ring
(2) as far as the maximum screwing depth and
pull off the screwdriver bit to the front (use pliers if
necessary).

6.7 Screws
It is advisable to use self-centering screws (e.g.
cross recessed head) as these will enable you to
work safely and reliably. Always make sure that
the screwdriver bit used is of the same size and
shape as the screw.
6.8 Removable holding clip (Fig. 1 / Item 6)
When the holding clip (6) is fi tted, the equipment
can be hung e.g. on a belt. The removable holding
clip can be screw-fi tted to either the left or right-
hand side of the equipment. Fitting is possible but
not necessary.

7. Cleaning and maintenance

HAZARD!
Always take the battery out of the equipment
before starting any cleaning work.
7.1 Cleaning
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or blow it down with compressed air at
low pressure.
We recommend cleaning the equipment
immediately each time after use.
Clean the equipment regularly with a damp
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these may
be aggressive to the plastic parts in the
equipment. Ensure that no water can get into
the interior of the equipment. The ingress of
water into an electric power tool increases the
risk of an electric shock.
7.2 Maintenance
There are no other parts inside the equipment
which require maintenance.
