Before you start
• Read the instructions in this manual carefully before using the appliance. Keep this manual for future reference.
• Do not immerse any electrical parts of the device in liquids.
• It must not be used by children. Do not allow children to handle the Newlux Programmable Pot, as it works at a
high temperature and expels steam, which could be dangerous.
• If the appliance has any damaged parts, do not switch it on. Contact the retailer or the Technical Assistance
Service (TAS).
• Use only the included accessories with the Programmable Pot, otherwise it may be irreparably damaged.
• Do not expose the appliance to the sun or climatic elements.
• Do not use the Programmable Pot on or near heat sources such as ovens, hobs or glass-ceramic hobs, as this
could damage it.
• Do not use the Programmable Pot for functions not indicated in this manual, it is designed exclusively for
cooking, sterilising or heating.
• When the appliance is running, do not go near the steam exhaust valve, as it releases hot steam and could be
dangerous.
IMPORTANT! Before using the device, it is advisable to clean it thoroughly by adding 1 measure of vinegar or
lemon and half a litre of water and selecting the 'Auto Clean' programme. Once the programme has finished,
rinse the bowl with water and the appliance will be ready to use.
