▪ Make sure that the ventilation slots are not clogged.
Do not place any objects over the slots;
▪ Drills and the combi drill itself may become too hot
during operation. Avoid touching them, they can
cause severe burns;
▪ Make sure that you don't damage the electrical
circuits, gas and water pipes when operating the
equipment. Any damage to these installations can
cause fire, explosion, electric shock or property
damage;
▪ Avoid using the combi drill on surfaces coated with
paints containing lead or other materials harmful to
health. Any contact or inhalation of dust may cause
allergic reactions and / or breathing disorders. Wear
a mask and work with a dust extraction device if the
power tool allows so;
▪ Materials containing asbestos cannot be worked.
Asbestos is carcinogenic.
Maintenance and cleaning
Before performing cleaning, adjusting, accessories
changing, repairing and maintenance tasks, you must
remove the battery.
Replace worn out or damaged parts immediately, so
that the power tool is always in a safe operating
condition.
Cleaning:
The power tool must be thoroughly cleaned after each
use.
Do not use aggressive cleaning products. These
products
may
damage
compromising the safe operation of the power tool.
Maintenance:
Only maintenance works described in this instruction
manual may be carried out; all other works must be
performed by an official distributor.
Keep all screws well tightened in order to ensure a safe
operation.

If any components or safety devices are removed for
maintenance works, they must be repositioned
immediately and correctly.
Use only VITO-approved tools for this machine or
technically identical parts. Failure to do so may result in
personal injuries or damages to the combi drill. If in
doubt, if you lack knowledge or resources, you should
contact an official distributor.
Technical assistance
The combi drill should only be serviced by the brand's
technical assistance center, or other qualified
personnel, replacing any necessary parts with original
ones.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Battery
1. Insert the battery (7) on the groove and slip it all the
way until you hear a "click" noise from the
lock/unlock button (8). At this point, the battery is
locked in place;
2. To remove the battery, press the lock/unlock button
and pull out the battery.
Use VITO 20V lithium-ion batteries.
Charging the battery
1. Place the battery (7) in the charger in the same way
as you would place it in the appliance;
2. Plug the charger into the socket and let it charge.
Sometimes at the end of charging, both the battery and
the charger can be hot, which doesn't mean they
malfunction.
Let the battery cool down before putting it in the combi
drill.
