Troubleshooting
Problem
Red LED (13) and Green LED (14) do not illuminate to indicate the
Battery (7) is correctly charging
Battery pack has low capacity
Impact driver cannot be switched ON (ON/OFF Switch (9) does
not move)
Impact driver does not start when Trigger Switch is depressed

Storage
• Store this tool carefully in a secure, dry place out of the reach of children
• For long-term storage, remove batteries and store separately
Disposal
Li-ion batteries should not be disposed of with household waste. If you do not know of a li-ion
battery recycling centre in your area, contact your local authority or original dealer for advice on
disposal of li-ion batteries.
Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of power tools that are no longer functional
and are not viable for repair.
• Do not dispose of power tools, batteries or other waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE), with household waste
• Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on the correct way to dispose of power
tools and batteries
Possible cause
Battery not correctly connected to Battery Charger (12)
Battery Charger not powered
Battery not being fully charged
Battery pack has been charged over 100 times and capacity has
started to reduce
The Direction Switch (4) may be in the middle (locked) position
Battery completely discharged
Defective Battery
Tool defective
Solution
Clean battery socket of Battery Charger and battery contacts and
fully slide on to Battery Charger so it clicks in a locked position
Recheck mains connection
Do not remove Battery until a full charge is indicated
This is normal for battery packs. Contact your Silverline dealer to
purchase a replacement battery pack
Slide the Direction Switch either to the left or right
Recharge Battery or replace with a fully charged Battery
Replace Battery
Contact your dealer or authorised Silverline service centre
