Self check
Local screen failure
The self check can be used to check if the IIC ports are ok.
Remove the front frame and front cloth.
Carefully remove the self-adhesive tape covering the local control on the plasma
panel.
Switch on the TV. The LED on the plasma panel local control should be green.
Press volume down button (B) on the plasma panel local control, and at the same
time press the OFF TIMER button on the enclosed "no name" remote control
while pointing at the plasma panel local control.
Now the display will show " :- " while the self check is performed.
When the IIC ports have been checked and found faulty or not located the display
will show " - - " instead of " OK ".
Mount the self-adhesive again.

The plasma display may have local area failure on the screen. On the fi gure
underneath it is shown which PCB´s might cause the failure.
