Special safety instructions for fine grinding
a.) Do not use oversized grinding discs for fine
grinding. Follow the manufacturer's instruc-
tions when selecting the grinding discs. A
grinding disc that is too large and protrudes far
above the grinding wheel poses a cutting hazard
and can lead to snagging, wheel breakage or kick-
back.
Additional warning information
a.) Hold the machine firmly with both hands and
ensure firm footing. It is safer to guide the ma-
chine with two hands.
b.) If explosive or self-igniting dusts are produced
during grinding, it is essential to follow the
working instructions of the material manufac-
turer.
c.) Harmful/poisonous dust can arise during work
(e.g. paint containing lead and some types of
wood and metal). Touching or inhaling this dust
can pose a risk to the operator or persons in close
proximity. Observe the safety instructions applica-
ble in your country. Connect the electric tool to a
suitable extraction device. Wear a P2 respiratory
protection mask to protect your health.
d.) Do not use the machine with a damaged cable.
Do not touch the damaged cable and pull the
mains plug if the cable gets damaged while
working. Damaged cables increase the risk of an
electric shock.

6. Residual risks

Even when this power tool is operated properly,
residual risks still remain. The following hazards
may arise in connection with the design and con-
struction of this power tool:
• Lung damage if suitable dust protection mask is
not worn.
• Hearing damage if suitable hearing protection is
not worn.
• Damage to health resulting from hand/arm vibration
if the device is used over an extended period of
time or if it is not properly operated and maintained.
