The subject device produces low levels of microcurrent which is discharged through the
two built-in chrome-plated spherical probes as they come in contact with the skin. Prior to
using the subject device, the selected surface of the skin to be treated is first prepped with
a NuFACE® Microcurrent Activator to moisturize the skin and ensure optimal microcurrent
conductivity. The two spherical probes are then gently glided over the skin to deliver the
electrical impulses per the selected treatment setting. Microcurrent is an aesthetic modality
providing electric current in millionths of an ampere and has the ability to increase the
appearance of facial contouring and the firmness of the skin and muscles.

The NuFACE Trinity+ and Mini+ devices are intended for facial and neck stimulation and are
indicated for over-the-counter cosmetic use.

C O N T R A I N D I CAT I O N S FO R U S E
• DO NOT use this device if you have a history of epilepsy or seizures.
• DO NOT use if you have had recent surgery or other surgical procedures.
• DO NOT use if you have any active cancer or over any suspicious or cancerous lesion.
• DO NOT use if you are pregnant. The safety of electrical stimulation during pregnancy has
not been established.
• DO NOT use if you have an electronic implanted device such as a defibrillator, neurostimulator,
pacemaker, or ECG Monitor.
• If you use a body-worn medical device, such as an insulin pump, consult your healthcare provider.
• DO NOT use on infants and children under the age of 18.
• Consult your healthcare provider if any of the contraindications above apply to you.
WA R N I N G S
• If you are under the care of a physician, consult your physician before using this device.
• This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
• Apply stimulation only to normal, intact, clean healthy skin. DO NOT use over swollen,
infected, or inflamed areas or skin eruptions (e.g., phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, broken
capillaries, varicose veins, etc.
• The product may NOT be safe for use on the neck in individuals with a known history of
carotid artery disease, stroke, or transient ischemic attack (TIA), carotid stenosis, unstable
blood pressure, easy fainting, thyroid disease, or prior surgical procedures in the neck area.
• DO NOT operate the device near electronic monitoring equipment (e.g., heart monitors,
heart tracing or in close proximity (e.g. 1m or just over 3 feet) to shortwave, microwave, or
electromagnetic therapy equipment as it may cause the medical equipment to malfunction.
Such equipment may produce instability in device output and cause burns at the stimulation site.
• DO NOT disassemble the device as this may cause damage,
malfunction, electrical shock, fire, or injury.
• Keep the device and related electrical accessories away from
direct contact with water (including baths, showers, and sinks).
• DO NOT use across your chest as the introduction of electrical
current into the chest may cause rhythmic disturbances to your
heart, which could be lethal.
• Avoid applying excessive pressure when using the device on the
anterior (front area) of the neck.
• DO NOT use over the midline of the neck. Care should be taken
to minimize treatment directly over the midline of the neck,
specifically avoiding the thyroid (see illustration).
• Keep the device out of the reach of children and pets.
• DO NOT drop or insert any object(s) into openings within the device.

Consult your healthcare provider before using this device:
• If you have any pre-existing or potential health conditions that may be impacted
by use of the device.
• If you have painful areas.
• If you suspect or have a neuromuscular disorder.
• If you have a spinal cord injury.
• If you have any underlying skin conditions.
• If you have undiagnosed or known pain syndromes.
• If you have a tendency to bleed excessively following an injury.
• If you experience constant headaches and/or painful sensations.
• If you have suspected or diagnosed heart disease.
DO NOT apply stimulation or use the device:
• When there is a tendency to bleed excessively following acute injury or breaks in bones.
• On the eye area (circular muscle within the orbital rim).
• On the temples, the breast or groin area.
• Over painful areas of your skin or in areas that lack normal sensation.
• While bathing or showering.
• At extreme temperatures.
• If you suspect the device is damaged or not functioning properly.
• While driving or operating machinery.
Discontinue use of the device and contact your healthcare provider if you experience any
of the following:
• Persistent pain or discomfort.
• Discomfort or any difficulty breathing or swallowing.
• Negative or harmful reaction(s) or injury.
• Symptoms of hypertension (dizziness or lightheadedness).
• Constant headaches and/or painful sensations.
• Skin irritation or burning.
• Unpleasant sensations on skin during use.
• Consistent flashing lights when without the use of your device.
If you experience any negative reactions while using the device and/or the microcurrent activator,
discontinue use immediately and contact your healthcare provider.
P R ECAU T I O N S
• The NuFACE device is designed for cosmetic use only.
• The device and attachments should be operated, transported, and stored in the manner
specified in this manual.
• Failure to use and maintain the device and corresponding attachments in accordance with
the instructions outlined in this manual will void the warranty and may result in product
damage or physical injury.
• The long-term effects of transcutaneous electrical stimulators are unknown.
• Apply stimulation only to normal, intact, clean, healthy skin.
• Avoid applying excessive pressure when using the device.
• Skin irritation or hypersensitivity may occur due to the electrical stimulation and / or use of
the NuFACE® Microcurrent Activator.
• A microcurrent sensation may occur while using the device. Using a lower intensity and/or
additional activator may be needed to reduce the sensation.
• Skin may become dry during treatment in which Microcurrent Activator may need to
be reapplied.
• A perception of flashing lights may occur if device is used near or around the eye region.
• DO NOT use the device if you see any signs of damage or leaks from the device.
• DO NOT remove the battery of the device.
• DO NOT store or leave the device under the sun or on a hot surface.
• Follow all local regulations and waste management guidelines for safely disposing
devices containing batteries.
