Seat belt Installation
i)
First thing to note is that the shoulder and lap belt guides are coloured green. There are 2 shoulder guides at the
top of the seat (Fig.9) and, 2 lap-belt guides which sit either side of the child's hips (Fig. 11). Finally, there is a belt
lock-off guide that goes across the back of the seat (Fig. 10 ).

To secure the seat belt open up the seat back-rest cover and open the belt lock-off door (Fig.l, part R).
iii) Take a generous amount of seat belt in your hand and feed through the top seat belt shoulder guide (Fig. 9),
thread the shoulder belt down the side of the seat (but behind the side material). At the same time take the lap
belt and thread through the door side belt guide at the base of the seat (Fig. l, part N).
iv) Thread both the shoulder strap and lap belt through the seat-back belt guide retainers (Fig. 10).
v) Thread both the shoulder strap and lap belt through the lower belt guide on the opposite side of the seat and click
the seat belt buckle into place (Fig. 11).
vi) Please ensure the belt is pulled taut.
vii) Close up lock-off door and replace car seat cover (Fig. 12).
viii) Please ensure the seat belt buckle when attached sits lower than the side of the seat (Fig. 11).

Headrest Adjustment

To adjust the headrest, pull the tab (Fig. 13) at the top of the headrest which releases the headrest pins from their
locking positions. The headrest is free to move up and down the seat.
The top of the shoulder strap (Fig. 14) should always be level or slightly above the child's shoulders, never below.
When satisfied with the positioning, release the tab and let the pins lock back into place. Pull and push the headrest a
little to ensure it is fixed in position.
Shoulder Pads
The harness shoulder pads are a safety feature, specifically designed for the RyRy Scallop. Never use the child seat
without them. Ensure the shoulder pads are fully extended once the harness has been tightened.
