Be very careful when using the trimmer
near walls or other obstructions. Objects in
the grass can be fl ung against the wall and
back towards you. Trim from the side, never
straight in front.
Avoid cutting too close to wire fences, etc.,
since they could cut the trimmer line. Push
the edge cutting guide (12) down, as it
helps to keep the correct distance from any
obstacles.
It will take several passes to trim tall grass.
Start from the top and work downwards.
Turn the trimmer head (14) 90 degrees and
push the edge cutting guide (12) down to
cut the edges of the lawn.
Avoid trimming wet grass. Best results will be
achieved when the grass is dry.
Line feed
The trimmer line is fed automatically when
you turn the grass trimmer on. Any excess
line will be cut off by the cutting blade (13)
on the side of the trimmer guard (11).
