components and substances that
may be hazardous and harmful to
human health and the environment
if waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE) is not disposed of correctly. Products
marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin are
electrical and electronic equipment. The
crossed-out wheeled bin indicates that waste
electrical and electronic equipment must
not be disposed of with unsorted household
waste, but must be collected separately.
Batteries and rechargeable
batteries
Batteries and rechargeable
batteries must not be disposed of in
household waste!
All consumers are legally obliged to dispose
of batteries and rechargeable batteries
– regardless of whether or not they contain
harmful substances* – by taking them to
the local recycling centre or to the retailer
so that they can be disposed of in an
environmentally safe way.
